We don’t rest a single day! We are working at full steam. After we finished the construction of two new buildings containing four classrooms for our primary school in July, now we are back in the construction business. We are going to build one more building with two new classrooms for our primary-school children!

As always, we are aided in the construction by our teachers and students of the masonry course in the Padri Vjeko Center. And they certainly use the opportunity to improve their skills.

You see, the existing number of classrooms in the primary school had become too small to take in all those little school children so eager to learn. The primary school is currently attended by just over one thousand seven hundred little ones, so the existing twenty-one classrooms were pretty crowded. Now it's going to be a bit easier, because four new classrooms really make a big difference. However, we have an equipment problem, but I hope that it will soon be solved. We made and constructed everything, except, unfortunately, we lack school desks.

When it comes to school desks, here we have a slight problem. We are in a constant need of those. But I believe that our dear friends from all over the world, who keep track of our work here, will help us with their donations in order to raise money for the timber out of which we, ourselves of course, will fashion desks and chairs.

Even the children in our parish, like children all over the world, have their hopes, dreams and desires. By building schools, we will fulfill at least a part of those dreams. By providing education, we can make it possible for them to achieve a quintessential prerequisite for their future progress. In the end, we will make sure that their dream comes true and make it possible for them to go to school, just like other children. In this way we can give them a happier childhood with a chance to live a safer and better life.
