I will come back again |
That is how my fellow was telling me. He is a man who is selling sand. He is selling it on the main road. To get it on the road is a job. Every day he is caring sand from the valley to the road which is on a hill. He is pushing it in a wheelbarrow or caring it in a sack…. I was coming from the Church and he come to me to ask why I did not accept his child in the School. Then, I did tray to explain to him how it is working in the School. First of all I do not know all children. I do not know that his child was among others. Also, we did admit elderly persons in the School who do not know how to write and read. He said, it is the same with me. I do not know how to read and write and I do not want my children to be like me. I am trying to send them to School to finish something that they can help family and themselves. You see myself. Every day I am caring sand on the rood to get some money to send my children to School. They do not need to work like me if they do get chance to go to School but you do not give them that chance. What could I say? I had to thing twice over it. But how to help all of them?? They are so many and we can accept only 105. In the Parish we do have 3 Primary Schools. In 2007 more that 400 children finished primary education. Where will they go? To go in Secondary Schools outside of the Parish they have to pay 210-300 Euros for a Year. And then, someone who gets some kind of job (around our area, digging or something similar) get in a Year around 180 Euros. That is reason why we are trying to build a Secondary school. In that case the School fees will be not even a third of the fees they have to pay in different Schools. And, again, this morning he came to me? Then how many like him did not come? |
