A Visit by Rwandan MPs |
A delegation of Rwandan MPs, more precisely members of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Technology, Culture and Youth, led by the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee, Vénéranda Nyirahirwa, MP, visited our vocational school on September 27. The parliamentarians were given a tour through the entire school compound and, visibly pleased with what they had seen, commended both the high level of equipment with essential machines and tools, and the high standard and quality of the curriculum our school offered to its students. During their visitation, the delegation gladly accepted our invitation to also visit the construction site of the future technical secondary school, and there the MPs once more expressed their satisfaction with our work on the improvement of education in Rwanda. One day later, on September 28, the Director of the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre in the Southern Province, Gideon Rudahunga, also came to visit us. At the construction site of the future technical secondary school, he expressed his support for the project saying that he was very optimistic about the possibility of the school starting with operation with the beginning of next year, and that it would greatly contribute to the improvement of secondary education in the district, if not also in the wider area.
