With the New Year, the time has also come to start another school year. We plan to begin lessons at our Padri Vjeko Vocational Training Centre on Monday, January 7th, so today we held entrance exams for new students.

You should have seen the school yard! ... again alive, filled with future students, nervous before the exams. Enrolling in a secondary school is an important and exciting experience for every girl and boy, so everyone showed up, looking their best.

Anxiety was quelled with quiet conversation, and so the yard – after more than a month of complete silence – was filled, not with the noisy clamour that we are used to during the school year, but with nervous whispers, betraying the fact that something important was taking place.

Although during the past days, as many as 301 young people applied to enroll in our first year, today another 27 showed up, so we expect that this year we will end up with an even greater number of new students at our school.
