We're looking for Books

Will you help?

We are looking for books for our School Library

CFJ Padri Vjeko School desperately needs books to build up a School Library for our students. Any used books (in good condition) are welcome!!!

By 2010, the Rwandan government would like the language of Education in Rwanda to be English, so we could really use books to learn the language. Read more...

From the holy Gospel according saint Matthew 2, 1-2

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in he east and have come to worship him.”

Slyvin UwizeyimanaAny time life could be improved. My name is Slyvin Uwizeyimana and before coming to study in Father Vjeko's Center, I was good at looking after cows, digging. From these activities I could get some money to buy few things since I did not manage to continue with other studies, until when I heard about the Center and toot a decision of joining it. I am studying well carpentry at the Father Vjeko's Center (also called Centre de formation - CFJ) and I am about to finish my second year course, and I think  it will help me to satisfy  all my needs  in future.

With the help of my teachers, I have now learnt many things most of which are modernised. In the Center I have studied good behaviours, how to stay with my fellow students, respect teachers and I think when I will finish here I will be able to work with any person in any place. I believe that with carpentry I will be able to cater for my needs, look after my parents, neighbours, relatives with out forgetting my own family.

Here I would like to thank every member of the school for their every form of assistance to me. I really thank them and kindly ask them to continue with that good spirit. May God reward them a hundred times.

Long live the Center!
